Insured Patients:
You are reminded that the responsibility for payment remains
that of the patient and not of the insurance company. It
is also the duty of the patient to liaise with their own
insurance company. Whilst my secretary will offer any practical
assistance, it is not her responsibility as the policy is
between you and the insurance company.
The fees charged to insured patients for consultations
and surgery have traditionally been in line with the amounts
reimbursed by the medical insurance companies. However,
the level of reimbursement for respective procedures may
vary from one insurance company to another. In addition
the insurance companies have either not raised their levels
of re-imbursement for many years or have made insignificant
increases only occasionally over the years.
This may sometimes incur a shortfall which will have to
be met by the patient if their insurance company reimburse
below the level of the fee levied. You will always be made
aware of this shortfall prior to treatment.
If you don't have insurance or the treatment is unlikely
to be covered by your insurance please contact :
